Baby sign language

A few months ago I checked out Baby Signing Time from the library two different times. Claire loved watching it. I've been sporadic about using signs since then. A few days ago I was feeding Claire lunch, and signed "eat," and she signed "eat" back! I thought it must be a fluke...until she did it again! She's been using "eat" pretty consistently...it's kind of amazing. She doesn't have any words yet, so it's so cool that she can talk to us! I often think of her as just a baby...this woke me up to the fact that she really is learning. And I ordered our own copy of Baby Signing Time on Amazon this morning :-)
